Simple headshots are fine if you just need a profile shot, but if you own a small business and you want people to really understand what you are all about, then having a personal branding shoot is the next step.
I work with small lifestyle businesses around Cambridge and London to create beautiful images that can be used for websites, print work and social media content.
Before a Shoot
I spend time talking to my clients when they first approach me for a Branding Shoot. We discuss what the photos are going to be used for, ideas for locations, outfit changes and even their brand colours.
The look and feel of the photography on your website should tell your story and your future clients should begin to learn about you and the service you provide. So it's essential that I understand this before I take your photograph.
The Shoot
I like to allow a half day for a full personal branding photoshoot. This allows time to get some really nice natural portrait shots interspersed with some relevant lifestyle pictures that can be used on other areas of your website and social media channels.
The look and feel of the photography on your website should tell your story and your future clients should begin to learn about you and the service you provide. So it's essential that I understand this before I take your photograph.
After your Shoot
After I've taken your photos, I go home and spend a lot of time going through the shots and editing the best ones. Sometimes clients have clear ideas about the ratios and sizes of their pictures and can respond to this to ensure they sit on your website perfectly.
The best pictures are then uploaded to a personal Gallery which I give you password access to, to have a look at comment on.
When you are happy with the images, you are able to download the high resolution images to use as you wish!

CASE STUDY
Harriet Rand Designs
I photographed Harriet after the first lockdown. Harriet had spent some of the downtime discovering a new love of pressing flowers and creating beautiful artworks and wanted to set up a small business. We chatted through her process and went for a wander in the woods in Cambridgeshire and took some pictures of Harriet picking flowers and then came back to her beautiful studio and took some more.

Agnes Tyburn (Beesitter)
Agnes approached me for some photography for multiple aspects of her beekeeping business. She required some headshots, a personal branding photoshoot, some styled product photos of her workshops and some lifestyle images of her working at her beehives.
With some careful planning, we managed to photography it all in one day. I pride myself on ensuring I can deliver the best value of my time.
