If your Business is product based then good quality product photography is going to help your Business thrive. Each image of every product you sell should help a potential customer inch one step closer to buying that product. The pictures should be professional and enticing. That's where Lifestyle Product Photography comes in.
The Brief
Before a lifestyle product shoot, I have a consultation meeting or telephone chat to discuss the brief. I like to spend time getting to know the client's brand needs so that the photos will fit with the finished website or social media needs. We discuss potential locations, look and feel, colours and the style of shots required.
I often put together a Pinterest board or Instagram saved folder of styled images to ensure we are on the same page in terms of styling.
It really can depend on the individual job as to how long is required to shoot different lifestyle product shoots and a good brief with a detailed list of requirements can save a lot of time.
The Shoot
After frequent liaisings, discussing requirements in detail, sourcing props and agreeing
locations, shoot days are really good fun.
I love collaborating with a client to ensure that the photos are exactly as a client imagines.
I have experience of working with a large variety of products from hair bands to climbing frames, children's pyjamas to vitamin supplements and I am passionate that every product deserves it's own time in front of the camera.
After your Shoot
After I've taken your photos, I go home and spend a lot of time going through the shots and editing the best ones. Sometimes clients have clear ideas about the ratios and sizes of their pictures and can respond to this to ensure they sit on your website perfectly.
The best pictures are then uploaded to a personal Gallery which I give you password access to, to have a look at comment on.
When you are happy with the images, you are able to download the high resolution images to use as you wish!

Product Shoot
A Lifestyle product Shoot is a great way to begin the photography needs required to start or refresh the images on your website.
The Price includes:
- Pre shoot consultation
- Styling of products either individually or groups of products
- Half or full day shoot 3 hours/6 hours
- Editing of images
- A personal Gallery
- Final high resolution files.
£395 for half a day
£595 for a full day
Simple Product Shoots
Some Product shoots require a lot less styling and are what I call 'Simple product shots as they are against a plain background and speak for themselves'.
The price includes
- 1- 2 hour shoot
- Up to 12 products
- Personal Gallery of images
- Up to 20 final images
- Final high resolution files
